For a limited time (we make this permanent), if you purchase a Membership Sign at the regular price, we will include a one-year Individual/Family Membership at no additional cost. To purchase a sign, please go to our membership sign page.

For Business Memberships, if you pay for an annual business membership at the regular price, we will include one free Membership Sign (if you want one). So sign up or renew your Business Membership today (and choose with or without membership sign). (There is a limit of one free sign per Business Membership.)

Membership

Membership in the Blanco County Friends of the Night Sky is open to any adult or business interested in preserving the night sky in Blanco County. Personal membership dues are $20 per person or family per year. Business memberships are $50.00 annually. Your membership begins on the date of your first payment and runs until the same date next year, at which time you will need to renew (unless you have selected automatic renewal).

We have several options regarding membership. You have the choice of Annual Memberships, Sustaining Memberships, Prepaid Memberships, or Lifetime Memberships. If you like, you may pay by mail.

Annual Memberships

Simply choose one of the options below. If you like, you may set up automatic renewal of your membership by clicking on the button marked “Annually.”

Prepaid Memberships

If you would like to prepay your membership for five years or more, choose this option and pick the number of years you would to pay. You may prepay Individual/Family Memberships or Business Memberships. For a limited time, if you buy a sign and pay for a multi-year membership, we will extend your membership by one year. Note: Prepaid Memberships are non-refundable.

Sustaining Membership

Some people may wish to support the Blanco County Friends of the Night Sky by becoming a sustaining member. This is a person or a family that wants to go beyond the basic $20 membership and make regular contributions to protect the night sky.

Becoming a sustaining member allows you to donate the same amount automatically on a monthly or quarterly basis. It provides us with a consistent, reliable support for Blanco County Friends of the Night Sky and our programs. It also helps us reduce paperwork, mailing costs, and the cost of processing memberships.

When you become a sustaining member, your credit or debit card will automatically be billed monthly or quarterly. Your donation automatically renews year after year. And you will save time, money, and resources. To become a sustaining member, please choose an amount below and choose “Monthly” or “Quarterly.” If you want to change or stop your contribution at any time, see the note below.

Lifetime Memberships

If you really would like to make a difference in protecting the night sky, become a lifetime member. For a one-time payment of $500, you can become a member of Blanco County Friend of the Night Sky for life. In addition, Life members are awarded a Lifetime Membership sign. Note: Lifetime Memberships are non-refundable.

Pay by Mail

If you prefer to pay by mail, please download and complete the Membership Form and mail it with your check to Blanco County Friends of the Night Sky, P. O. Box 1402, Johnson City, TX 78636.
